Aija Izaks (born June 27, 1969 in Karsava, Latvia, as Aija Nagle) and is a professional violinist and model.

Studies and carrier

She has studied Music Performance for 18 years at the Rimski-Korsakov Music School for the Gifted (Saint Petersburg, Russia), Emils Darzins Music School for the Gifted (Riga, Latvia.) She has earned Master's Degree in Music Performance from the prestigious Music College, Latvian Music Academy (Riga, Latvia), and was announced "Best Graduate of the Year”.[1]

Izaks has traveled and performed all over the world, utilizing many different types and styles of music such as Baroque, Classical, Popular, Romantic, Broadway, Jazz, Swing, Blues, Country & Western, Fiddling, Ethnic and other. Prior to moving to the USA, she was the violinist at the National Opera and Ballet House in Riga, Latvia, as well as several symphony orchestras around the world, and has performed with various chamber music groups, both as a group musician and as a soloist.

She moved to the USA in 1994 and has become a citizen there. Besides actively pursuing her professional musical career, she has also become a professional Model. She earned her diploma and signed a contract with Neil Hamil Modeling agency in Houston, Texas. In her modeling career she is very versatile as well, being creative in many different genres. Aija Izaks had the possibility to play in front of the former president George H.W. Bush and the former first Lady Laura Bush, with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and for the Super Bowl XXXVIII party. Furthermore, she won the title “Ms. Lone Star State America 2016” at National Pageant held in California, and receiving Gold Medal from President Obama and she was chosen to represent the State of Texas as “Lady Texas 2017” (National Pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana).[no citations needed here]
