Amir Khan(born 27th July 1971) is the Deputy COO of Leisure League World Group Sports anchorperson and Senior Analyst of cricket, Football and other sports also correspondent, Marketer, Business Developer and avid Trainer. He is a recipient of the different awards from Pakistan for his contributions to sports, Training and broadcasting. Amir Khan comes from Karachi and is a notable resident of the Pakistan Marine Academy. He has served in various capacities as a cricket analyst, Host including being appointed by the Huawei Technologies /ZTE /Alandick/ RCI on a Senior Management role. Also a media Advisor with Leisure Leagues WG in 2018 Till Date. He anchored numerous live shows about cricket and football. Background Amir Khan holds BSc Maritime Studies from PMA Pakistan Marine Academy Karachi and MOT Certificates from the University of South Shields UK. For a short period, he worked as Merchant Navy Officer, before eventually venturing into the sports Marketing and training sphere, something he had always been interested in.
He is married to Tahira Amir and has four children: Esha, Ramsha, Iqra and Fareeha.
Early life and education
Amir Khan was born in Karachi, Pakistan. He was the last child of Mrs. Kishwer Sultan and Mr. Sultan Ahmed Khan. He started his schooling in PAF Model School in 1977 before enrolling in SM Science College, Karachi. After completing his Bachelors in Maritime studies from Pakistan Marine Academy PMA, He Got his MOT Certificate from UK South Shields and worked at the Merchant Navy in foreign going vessels. Than join corporate world and MNCs as Senior Manager Media and Director Marketing and other C Level positions. Introduction to cricket While he was a graduate trainee at the KPT Workshop he joined the Cricket as Media Coordinator and was promoted to Manager Coordinator with different elite organization. Also played Zonal Cricket from Karachi city KCCA.
Amir Khan won all Pakistan Take 2 Acting Challenge from NTM in the year 1995 . He remained associated with sports and also appearing as a commentator for different radio channels. His television career started by chance when Leisure League give him Leisure Leagues show hosting on football. The show aired on PTV sports from Karachi and Lahore and all our Pakistan and he discusses all Football issues including PFF. Soon, he was asked to host the pre and post-match analysis during the South Africa series in 2018 in News One channel as Analyst and Metro One News Final Countdown show as Anchorperson with Amir Khan also PSL Taakra with Amir Khan on Capital TV on PSL 2019 4th edition as Anchorperson.
