Football biography

Muhammed Ashique Kuruniyan (Born 1 January 1997) is an Indian footballer who plays as a forward, currently playing for Villarreal CF in Spain on loan from Indian Super League team FC Pune City.

He is only the second Indian to play in Spanish First Division after Ishan Pandita.

He is from Pattarkadavu, Malappuram in Kerala, currently a student at NSS College Manjeri, the same college that of his predecessor Anas Edathodika studied. It's fake an he went in that club with money. India spent millions of euro to send him in villareal fc after ishan pandita. Ashique, earlier played for MSP Higher Secondary School, Malappuram, runner-up in 2012 Subrato Cup. He also played for Kerala U-19 State team and later trained in SAIL Football Academy Jharkhand. He was part of Pune U 18 for the 2014–15 I-League U19 and 2015–16 I-League U18. He has played for India U-18, U19 and for India national under-20 football team in the 2016 AFC U-19 Championship qualification[1][2] as left midfielder. Before joining FC Pune City in 2014, Ashique was with the Delhi based 2nd Division I-League club Garhwal F.C.[3]

Ashique was elected by the spanish club Villarreal CF to play for it's third team on loan[4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
