Audrey Jones (born 1934) was a Liberal Democrat politician in the United Kingdom. Jones is a former Lord Mayor,[1][2] and the 105th Lord Mayor of Manchester during the period 2003–2004.[3][4] She was the first Liberal Democrat to hold the Lord Mayor position in Manchester.[5] During her time as Lord Mayor, her daughter, Helen, fulfilled the position of Lady Mayoress.[5]

Cerebellar atrophy

Jones suffered from cerebellar atrophy.[6] She went to China to receive an stem-cell therapy at Qingdao Hospital.[6][1] The trip cost her over £10,000.[7]
