Clay Garner (born May 3, 1994 in Norwalk, Connecticut) is an American-born C-pop recording artist, Chinese television personality, and internet star. More commonly known by his stage name "Gaoshan" (Template:Zh), he rose to fame in China and Taiwan on major websites such as Sina Weibo and Youku after uploading a series of self-produced original Chinese songs and covers to the web.[1] His videos have received over 50 million views as of August 2012. In 2012 Clay was a cast member on a Beijing TV youth talk show.[2] Clay writes songs in Chinese and English but also speaks Spanish. He currently attends Stanford University.
In 2014, Clay performed on the Taiwanese television show "Superstar明日之星" on Formosa TV.
