Đỗ Văn Bửu Điền (born March 20, 1969), also known online as Color Man, is a Vietnamese YouTuber, businessman, actor and former newscaster. He is the founder and CEO of Dien Quan Media & Entertainment. Buu Dien is previously a newscaster for Ho Chi Minh City Television and has become famous for his exceptional English skills. In 2018, his own YouTube channel Color Man was introduced, gathering 1 million subscribers in one year.

Early life

Buu Dien was born in Bến Tre, Vietnam on March 20, 1969.[1]

Career

Buu Dien worked for Ho Chi Minh City Television for 20 years as an English-speaking newscaster, a position making him popular among the viewers for his English fluency.[2] In 2008, Buu Dien founded Dien Quan Media & Entertainment, a company originally for news reporting, but was later expanded to game shows and TV series.[2]

In 2018, he introduced his own YouTube channel and started using the alias Color Man. With 3–5 videos uploaded daily, the channel's contents are diverse, including food reviewing, charity activities and exclusive clips from his company's shows.[3] It quickly got the Silver Creator Award after 2 months, and the Gold Creator Award after 1 year.[4][3][2] In 2019, Buu Dien starred in his own web drama Bo Gia Bolero[4] and made a cameo in the upcoming movie Vo Dien Sat Nhan.

Personaly life

Buu Dien originally married to Khanh Mai, a colleague at HTV, and gave birth to one son. They later divorced before he remarried to his second wife Pham Thuy Van. He has 2 daughters with her.[1]
