Foxit Corporation (Template:Zh) is a Chinese multinational software corporation headquartered in Fuzhou, China, with offices in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and the United States.

The company sells software for reading and editing Adobe PDF documents, including Foxit Reader, a PDF reader.

History

Foxit was founded in Fuzhou, China, in 2001, and established a subsidiary in California, United States, in the same year.[1] In 2004, Foxit released Foxit Reader and Foxit PDF Editor.[no citations needed here] In 2009, Foxit Software Company was incorporated as Foxit Corporation. In 2011 the Minority Business Development Association, an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce, named Foxit one of the ten recipients of the 2011 Regional Minority Enterprise Development Week award in the San Francisco region.[2]
