Jessie Paul is a marketing expert,[12] founder[13] and CEO of the marketing advisory firm Paul Writer Strategic Advisory,[14][15][16][17][18] public speaker[19] and the author of the book No Money Marketing.[20][21] She was formerly Chief Marketing Officer of Wipro IT Business[20][22][23] and Global Brand Manager at Infosys Technologies Ltd.[24][25] She is also an Independent Director in the Board of Directors with SQS India BFSI Limited,[26] public company listed in both Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) and NSE.
Education
Jessie Paul holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and an Engineering degree from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli,[27] and an MBA in Marketing from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.[1]
Career
Paul was part of Wipro for four and a half years as chief marketing officer.[28] At Wipro, she was instrumental in globalizing Wipro's marketing team. She also created the shared-marketing unit for Wipro Technologies and Wipro Infotech, besides devising strategies to build the Wipro brand.[29] She wrote the book No Money Marketing (ISBN 9780070152700) on frugal marketing.[8]
Prior to working with Wipro, she had worked for almost 15 years in companies including O&M, Infosys and iGate.
In 2009 December, she quit Wipro Technologies to start her own venture, Paul Writer Strategic Advisory,[30][31] a marketing platform for B2B early-stage companies in the traditional and new media space like social blogging.[20]
Paul is considered an expert in brand globalization, and has been named one of the most influential women in information technology in India.[32]
