Juanpi (Template:Zh),is a Chinese e-commerce company,Established in 2012 in Wuhan China, Juanpi has more than 1,500 employees worldwide with global offices in Gurgaon (India), Beijing, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Hangzhou (China) .[1] Juanpi's founder was one of three Huazhong University of Science and Technology alumni listed in China Forbes magazine's Top 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30 in 2016.[2]

In 2016, Juanpi has over 100 million registered users generating hundreds of millions of USD in Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV).

History

  1. April 2012: The commercial model that exempts FREE SHIPPING is launched in the Chinese market.[3]
  2. September 2012: Juanpi is officially established.[4]
  3. November 2013: Juanpi Founder and CEO Huang Chengsong placed second at the Hubei Entrepreneurship Contest for College Students and receives Wuhan “Qingtong Plan” Entrepreneurship Pioneer Award for College Students[5]
  4. December 2013: Juanpi is certified Hubei’s high-tech enterprise.
  5. June 2014: Juanpi Shenzhen is founded.[6]
  6. July 2014: The first round of financing effort is an investment of 50 million CNY by New Access Capital and Newsion Venture Capital.[7]
  7. November 2014: Juanpi is honored with the gold prize at the China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Competition.
  8. November 2014: Juanpi is selected one of 100 innovative growth enterprises in 2014 by “Entrepreneur 100”.
  9. December 2014: Juanpi obtains the Series B financing from SAIF Partners in the amount of 35 million USD.
  10. March 2015: Juanpi’s CEO Huang Chengsong is ranked among the top 30 Chinese entrepreneurs under the age of 30 in 2015 by Forbes.
  11. March 2015: Juanpi’s Beijing office is established.
  12. May 2015: Juanpi Founder and President Xia Lifeng receives the “Wuhan May 4th Youth Medal.”
  13. September 2015: Juanpi is named among the top 200 Chinese Unicorn businesses ranked by valuation.
  14. September 2015: Juanpi is recognized exclusively by “E-commerce Innovative Growth Award” at the Global Internet Economy Conference, and becoming the mobile app-based e-commerce company with the best development potential.
  15. September 2015: Juanpi is rated one of the “Chinese E-commerce Ranking TOP 150 in 2015” by CIWEEK.
  16. September 2015: Juanpi is named “Optics Valley Rising Star” by Deloitte & Touche.
  17. January 2016: Huang Chengsong is ranked among the “new entrepreneurs aged under 30” 2016 by Cyzone.cn.
  18. January 2016: Huang is recognized as “China Internet + New CEO Award 2015” by iyiou.com.
  19. January 2016: Juanpi is recognized with The Economic Observer’s V Time·New Orange Award for 2015’s most popular shopping app.[8]
  20. April 2016: Juanpi completes third round of financing with a total investment of 600 million CNY by Tiantu Capital, CMB International, together with Zhejiang Jinkong.
  21. June 2016: Juanpi receives iResearch Awards “2016 Best Product/Service Innovation Prize.”
