Lyda Krewson (born January 13, 1964) is an American politician and representing Ward 28, St. Louis City Board of Aldermen for the City of St. Louis, Missouri (1999–present).

Krewson is a CPA and the Chief Financial Officer of Peckham Guyton Albers & Viets, Inc. (PGAV) – an international design and planning firm. She received an education degree from Truman State University followed by an accounting degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.[1]

Mayoral campaign

Krewson has announced plans to run for Mayor of St. Louis in the 2017 election[2] as one of seven candidates in the March 7, 2017 Democrtic primary.[3] She has been endorsed by current Mayor Francis Slay.[4] She won the 2017 primary and is heavily favored to win the general election on April 4th and become the first female mayor of St Louis.
