Mary Alexis Cruz popularly known as Miss Mary Cruz, is a British actress, singer and model.

Biography

Cruz began her singing at the age of 8. She has attended Sylvia Young Theatre School and Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. Cruz starred in theatrical production's at the Cockpit Theatre and the Bloomsbury Theatre. Cruz was also awarded a full scholarship to Rugby School due to her achievements in acting and performance. She then went on to train at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.[1]

Cruz supported J Alvarez in his UK tour and was an ambassador, performing at George Clooney, Don Cheadle and Matt Damon’s "Not on Our Watch" charity gala in London.[2] In 2013, Cruz appeared in the music video for the song "Hurricane" by Bridgit Mendler. In 2016, she starred as Essie, in Confessions of Isabella.[3][4][5] She has also starred in Telemundo’s Caso Cerrado and NBC’s El Vato.[6] In 2019, she appeared as a palace courtier in the live action remake of Aladdin.

Cruz has appeared lead roles in music videos for artists including Nicky Jam, Desiigner, Too Short, Skepta and Wiz Khalifa.[2] Cruz has also appeared in numerous international commercial advertising campaigns for Budweiser, Acer, True Religion, Narconon and Kellogg's.[7]
