Mawra Hocane (born September 28, 1992)[1] is a Pakistani VJ, model and actress.[2] She performed in most popular Pakistani television serial dramas including Aahista Aahista, Ik Tamanna Lahasil Si and Nikhar Gaye Gulab Sare. Hocane was casted in the Bollywood film, Sanam Teri Kasam.[3]

Early life and career

Hocane was born in Karachi but she grew up in Islamabad where she completed her Pre-medical education from Bahria College, Islamabad after her family was transferred to the Islamabad. She is the sister of television actress Urwa Hocane. Both sisters are famous in Pakistani Glamour Industry as "Beautiful sisters". She is currently studying LL.B. at the Islamabad University of London.[2] She performed as a theater artist before working as a VJ at ARY Musik.[4] She became the sensation in India when Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor posted her a video message. She faced herself an unwanted controversy after her tweets strike the banning of Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Phantom’ in Pakistan that drew attention from all corners. [5][6]
