Shon Pace (born July 13, 1990) is an American recording artist and dancer. In 2006 He started his career by choreographing Beyoncé’s video Upgrade U[1][2] with Tanisha Scott. During that time period while still recording and songwriting, he has appeared in various music videos like Nelly's Stepped on My J'z,[2] & Planet VI's(formerly known as "Rock City") Losin' It.[2] After parting ways with former group Blu-Print back in 2008, in 2009 he ventured off on his own and garnered attention in the New York/New Jersey scene. His debut music video for his song "Found My Lover"[3] was released on November 21, 2011. In late 2011 he released his first full length EP Terminator,[4] it was released for purchase to major retailers like Amazon.com[5] and released for stream on Spotify.[6] In 2012 he appeared in the Sensa Weight Loss[7][8][9] commercial, and he was featured as a dancer in R. Kelly's music video for the song Feelin' Single.[2] He previously toured as a backup dancer for Keyshia Cole's Woman to Woman Tour,[2][10][11][12] and was in attendance at the 2013 BET Awards.[2][13] Currently Shon is preparing for the release of his second project Renegade,[2] due sometime in 2015.

Career

2006–2010: Dance & Musical Beginnings

Pace served as the lead singer of Pop/R&B group Blu-Print for 3 years,[2] due to disagreements they parted ways before their deal and Pace decided to pursue a solo career.[2] He & Tanisha Scott both helped mold the dance choreography to Beyoncé's Upgrade U video in 2006,[2] While appearing in numerous videos such as Nelly's Stepped on My J'z[2] & Planet VI's (formerly known as Rock City) Losin' It.[2] While working on his music Pace made time to teach aspiring young dancers how to dance in the NY area.[14][2] In 2010 Shon performed along various underground artists on the stage of VH1's Save the Music/Break'N Through[2] showcase event, garnering attention in the NY area.
