Willie Arnold Thompson (born May 28, 1983) is an American actor, screenwriter and film producer. Thompson landed several leads in plays, hosted events and has been in a few TV pilots Matadors, Pleading Guilty and a TV movie There Are No Children Here which stared Oprah Winfery. He has also landed a role in season 2 of NBC's Chicago Fire.
Will Thompson was born May 28, 1983 in Chicago he is the second of 4 children. He grew up in middle class Oak Park, a suburb on the west side of Chicago. Thompson knew he wanted to be an actor since the age of 12. He went to Oak Park and River Forest High school and with interest in music and a natural talent of being able to play the piano by ear a few years after he graduated Thompson pursued a music career in Los Angeles. After realizing that it was more to entertaining then just music, he moved back to Chicago and went full throttle with acting. After enrolling in Act One Conservatory, The Green Room Chicago and Second City, Thompson attended classes, acting sessions and practiced with multiple acting coaches to perfect his craft.
Thompson started a production company Urban Visionary Films which he has worked with the John Carl Buechler in a film collaboration. The blockbuster potential has also had setbacks as well, with three major back surgeries in the year 2008, the second one being life threatening. Thompson went to Triton college but didn't obtain a degree.
