Yansong Pang (Template:Zh) is the 2016-2017 Global President at Global China Connection.[1] He leads a management team of 8 people to provide strategic directions for the entire organization with its 70 worldwide chapters.
He graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College in 2013, with a degree in Mathmatics/Statistics and Psychology, and a minor in Cross-Cultural Studies.[2] He received maximum amount of scholarship to attend Bridge Business Summer Program at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in summer 2012.
Yansong Pang is the youngest buy-side lead equity research analyst[3] at Ulland Investment Advisors in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a long-only asset manager founded in 1997 by James Ulland, Minnesota's Chief Regulator of securities, banks, and insurance companies under Governor Carlson. Yansong passed all three levels of CFA exams and leads the entire company’s equity research for high net-worth individual and family office portfolios with $75M in equity exposure.
Yansong is also a Director Assistant with Hubei Radiatech Auto Cooling System Co., Ltd, a publicly-traded Chinese company based in Hubei, Wuhan, China, and acts as the fully authorized representative of Radiatech to consult, negotiate, and communicate with investors about investments and business cooperation.
His prior experience includes working as a market strategies & insight analyst at RSG, Inc., a market strategy consulting firm serving Fortune 500 companies. He was the lead analyst that informed multiple product development strategies for a Fortune Global 500 heavy construction machine manufacturing company in North American, Chinese, Russian, and Latin American markets, and multiple CPG brand positioning and assortment optimization projects in foreign markets.
Yansong is the founder and chairman of Chinese Professionals in Minnesota organization, an unmonetized professional networking and information sharing platform, to encourage over 300 Chinese professionals of various industries in Minnesota to explore career opportunities and develop industry insights, online via LinkedIn and WeChat and offline through montly Professional Experience Sharing Salon activities.
In his spare time, Yansong enjoys playing piano and saxophone, singing, kayaking, and playing basketball.
