Coder brings pre-configured, remote dev environments to the modern enterprise.[1] The platform was released by Coder, a technology startup based in Austin, Texas. [2]


Coder announced a $4.5 million seed round Nov 8, 2018 to fund Coder Online IDE.[3] The round was led by Uncork Capital and Redpoint Ventures.[4] Additional investors included the venture capital firms Founders Fund and Capital Factory.[3]
