Football biography

Davis Agesa is a Kenyan footballer who currently plays for Nairobi City Stars in the second tier Kenyan National Super League as a striker.

Big in physique, the six-foot-plus striker is also at home playing as a number 10 as well as a right winger. Speed, power, pin point crosses from the wing and his defensive mode during corners defines his style of play.

Agesa was part of Vapor Sports before scaling upwards to City Stars whom he played for in the 2017 season where he scored seven goals that included a hat trick during a 4-1 demolition of Talanta in October of that year.[1] Later on he moved on Thika United [2] in the Kenyan Premier League in the first part of the 2018 season before returning to City Stars for the latter part of the 2018 season leading the team to a seventh place finish.

At the earliest opportunity Agesa would recoil back to Vapor to feature in varied tournaments and cup competitions.[3][4]

In the 2018/9 season Agesa delivered crucial assists to help the team survive relegation at the end of the season in June 2019. He scored the last goal of the season, a winner, as the team hit Kibera BlackStars 2-1 at Hope Centre to guarantee a 14th place finish.

He has had stints in Seychelles and Asia.
