Sergei Alekseevich Savateev (Сергей Саватеев, born 13 August 1983; Leningrad, USSR) is an interior designer[1] and artist.

Biography

Savateev was born on 13 August 1983 in Leningrad, USSR.

Education

In 2006, he graduated from the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, and by that time he had been employed with Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau in the position of an engineer for 2 years.

From fall 2008 to spring 2009, while still working for Almaz, he underwent training at the Institute of Cultural Programs, majoring in the Design of the Subject-Space Environment.

Career

After the completion of training, Sergei Savateev quit the engineering business and started a private designer practice as well as collaboration with architecture and design companies.

In December 2009, he submitted an application to a prestigious designer competition, Neuhaus, and was awarded Grade I diploma.

After 2 years of independent work, Sergei made a decision to start his very own design studio. In fall 2010, he launched the Top Interiors studio.

In 2014, the studio was renamed into SAVATEEV DESIGN.

Projects both in Russia and abroad have been completed: in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Ufa, also in Germany, Finland, Israel and the United States.
