Taiji Rouliqiu (chin. 太極白龍球/太极白龙球, Tàijí Rou Li qiú, 太極柔力球/太极柔力球,) Tàijí Róulìqiú, is a modern kind of internal martial art originating from China which follows the principles of Taijiquan in its philosophy and in the motion. One practices with a specially designed racket and ball in the multi-player or single player mode. Taiji Rouliqiu connects the practitioners thoughts and feelings to the movements. It is also called Taiji Bailong Ball or Tai chi softball.

The equipment can be used for solo and Multiplay.

With the Taiji Rouliqiu one uses a special Racket covered with a rubber surface and practices with a specially designed ball filled with sand.

If one performs Taiji Rouliqiu as a single player (Solo-play), the ball with the Racket is led circling and without interruption around itself. The movements resemble and follow the principles of elementary Taiji movements. The ball is therefore led by skillful holistic body movements, internal focus and different flexible hand techniques. The movements can be choreographed to music as dance form or like the forms of the Taijiquan.

Another possibility is as a multi player game. In these variants similarities with tennis or racket ball. Taiji Rouliqiu differs however in a substantial principle from tennis. The ball is not back played by linear striking to the fellow player, but diffused first, by accepting it with the Racket in its flight path accompanying. Subsequently, the momentum used around the ball in a dynamic to direct circular movement back toward the fellow players. If one would like to thus move the ball, then this happens through pulling, leads: to lead and redirect.

In Europe championships, where it is known as Taiji Bailong Ball, it is presented in the following disciplines: Soloplay as warming up form, standard form and Freestyle; Multiplay against each other single or doubles, and Multiplay with one another.

Tai Chi Rouliqiu was created based on the principle of Yin & Yang. It emphasises exercising every joint and muscle in the body, and has become increasingly popular among the senior people at parks and public places in China. It is easy and fun to play and is recognized as an effective exercise to prevent illness and cure shoulder, back and joint problems
