Alkarzabih Shkal was a lieutenant for the forces of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, during the 2011 Libyan civil war, before their defeat and Gaddafi's death in Sirte.

Shkal and his cousin reportedly killed three rebels in the Battle of Brega–Ajdabiya road on 6 May 2011 when a rebel scouting pick-up truck came too close to loyalist lines and was hit by artillery fire.[1]

Now loyal to Khalifa Haftar, As of September 2016, Shkal has been in control of the area just south of Alsoiei Alkhittona Street in Tripoli, acting under the orders of the Libyan Ministry of Labour and Capacity Building.[2]
