Abiri Bankole (Born April 13, 1993) popularly known as Bankyondbeatz is a Nigerian record producer.

Early Life

Bankyondbeatz was born in Lagos state, Nigeria. His musical sojourn began as far back as primary school playing the drums at the age of 6.

Bankyondbeatz credits his versatility as a producer to listening to his father’s large music repertoire which had the likes of Shina Peters, King Sunny Ade, James Brown and more.


The producer and DJ is a graduate of Business Administration from Babcock University, Nigeria.


Bankyondbeatz became an household name in the Nigerian music industry in 2013, when a freestyle titled Shakara by BOJ of DRB Lasgidi – which he produced – went viral after it leaked online.

Due to the successful reception of the freestyle, Fresh L and Teezee of DRB added their verses to the song and they released it as an official single of the group.

Bankyondbeatz joining forces with another young producer GMK, and 2 emerging hip-hop talents – Ozzy B (now referred to as Santi) and Retrodee (now known as Genio Bambino) created a formidable music collective called the Monster Boys.[1]

His first ever body of work was released on the 1st of August 2015 and was titled Legendary Reflections. The mixtape produced buzz worthy singles such as Regular Pedestrian, My Body and Soul and Ekomiami featuring industry regulars Flowssick and Novakillz.

Following the mild success of the mixtape, Bankyondbeatz struck up a working relationship with Project fame 3rd runner up and Nigerian Afro-house queen, Niniola as the pair got into the studio to work. This produced Ago Alago – one of the standout tracks on his subsequent EP released early January 2017.

Bankyondbeatz also championed an EP titled Fuego Senoras meaning Fire Ladies in Spanish featured an all-female lineup featuring Niniola, rapper and former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria Munachi Abi (known by her rap pseudonym Muna), alongside Nigerian evolving music stars home and abroad – DJ Yin, AT, Lady Donli (UK), Deena O (Germany) and Eli (Canada).


BANKYONDBEATZ is a member of Monster Boys – a music collective which consists of another Nigerian producer GMK, Ozzy B (now Santi) and Retrodee (now Genio Bambino).

Bankyondbeatz is a name well associated with notable figures in the Nigerian music industry like Niniola, Poe, Reminisce, BOJ, LOS, Munachi Abi (Muna), Tomi Thomas, Flowssick, Rayce, and more.
