Ervin Dela Cruz (born November 27, 1992), better known by his stage name Darz, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and sound engineer from San Francisco, California. He is a CEO/Founder of AudioDripz.[1] He is known for his catch phrase "Young Darz, Pullin up in foreign cars."[2] and the chant "Lights". He released his first official single "Fasho"[3] hosted by DJ Asap of Young California and produced by Traknation's, De'la and followed up with his next single "Guala".[4] He released a mixtape featuring Rnb Base titled "Famous Overnight".[5] Since. Darz has been working with major artist's like Dmac,[6] Mike Jones (rapper),[7] Show Banga, Remedy, & PricelessDaRoc.

Early life

Darz was born in San Francisco, California.[8] He started doing drum patters on tables since elementary school and in high school he joined Deer Valley's Drumline. Graduating in 2011, He got his first job at Staples in Antioch, California and with his first paycheck he purchased studio equipment at guitar center to start making beats. Originally just a producer, He started rapping on his own beats in 2012

Musical career

In 2012, Darz released his first song as a rapper, "Summer Time Work" on soundcloud. In 2016, Darz released his first mixtape with Rnb Base, "Famous Overnight".[9] His popular songs are "Need That"[10] and "No More"[11] which made over millions of streams on YouTube.
