Devbridge Group, LLC is a software design and development company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The company employs over 250 people throughout its offices in the United States, Canada and Lithuania.

Founded in 2008, Devbridge specializes in agile software development for FORTUNE 1000 enterprises in financial services, manufacturing and technology.

Story

Devbridge opened its first office in 2008 near Chicago’s O’Hare airport. The company’s growth and team expansion soon prompted moves to larger office spaces in West Town. In 2015, the company moved its headquarters[1] to a 13,000-square-foot space in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. In 2016, the company opened an office in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

In addition to its headquarters in Chicago, Devbridge has offices in Toronto, Ontario Canada, and Kaunas and Vilnius, Lithuania. In 2017, Devbridge moved its Toronto offices to a new location.[2]

Community engagement

Sourcery Academy

Devbridge Group created the Sourcery Academy to give students an opportunity to improve their skills and prepare for a career in the IT industry. Following the course, each student is awarded a trial with the company, giving them a chance to gain real work experience. Sourcery Academy is a free, three-month course, available in the spring and fall of each year. Students are invited to the Devbridge Lithuanian offices in Kaunas and Vilnius to attend lectures and create custom projects with the help of software development professionals. Students learn the latest technologies and how to create software using the best tools on the market. Furthermore, Devbridge assigns a mentor to each student to serve as a resource for their custom development projects.

Work

Devbridge specializes in software design and development for industry-leading companies in the financial services, manufacturing and technology sectors.[3] Clients range from Tier 1 banks to a FORTUNE 100 industrial supply company to a market-leading e-Discovery software provider.[4]

The company was placed on the Inc. 5000 list of "Fastest Growing Companies in America" for four consecutive years, from 2013 to 2016.[5][6]
