Gill Fielding (1957) is a British author, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.[2][3][4] She is best known as a self-made millionaire that has appeared on numerous television programs including The Secret Millionaire (Channel 4), Celebrity Eggheads (BBC2), The Apprentice (UK TV series), and Hotel GB.[5][6][7] Her industry interests include personal finance and property development.[8][9]


Gill Fielding was born in West Ham in 1957.[10] She began working as an entrepreneur from an early age, and purchased her first buy-to-let property by the time she was 19 years old. She then studied English at Sussex University where she earned a degree and qualified as a teacher and later as an accountant.[11] Fielding later held several jobs including working for PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 1997 she began writing financial articles for various magazines and journals, which in 2001 developed into The Wealth Company. She went on to create several more businesses and joint ventures including Wealth Coaching Support Ltd (2009) and Riches Seminars Ltd (2009). In 2009, she founded Fielding Financial Family Ltd, a company that provides educational services and advice.[12][13]

Fielding has appeared on various television programs including The Secret Millionaire (Channel4), Celebrity Eggheads (BBC2), The Apprentice (UK TV series), and Hotel GB(Channel 4). She has also appeared on Channel 4 and ITN as part of their 2010 General Election coverage. Additionally, she has been featured as financial commentator on the BBC, ITV, CNBC and Sky Television.[14][15] Fielding currently gives lectures and seminars on finance and property investing, and holds a regular radio show on BBC Surrey and BBC Sussex where she provides financial advice to callers.[16][17]
