Jack Be is an independent American singer and rapper.[1] His debut album, The Great Alone, appeared on two Billboard charts.[2]

Early life and education

Born in Los Angeles, Be attended Harvard-Westlake School.[no citations needed here] He attended University of Southern California with Game Design as his major subject.[no citations needed here] Be has always had an interest in making games and has been doing it since 2015.[no citations needed here] Jack Be used to box and even said in an article “Boxing is a sport unlike any other in my opinion” he than started boxing in the Wildcard Boxing Club.[no citations needed here]

Career

Be started making music in 2009. He was part of the hip-hop duo Flowrunner, along with EDM producer Brigsby.[3] As part of Flowrunner, he performed with artists including 2 Chainz, Lil Pump, Rick Ross, Juicy J, and Ty Dolla Sign.[4] In August 2018, he released his first single Beauty Hurts[5] followed by “Sorry to Bother You”.[6]

In December 2018, Be released his first album The Great Alone[7] which appeared in the Billboard Independent Albums and Top Heatseekers at numbers 41 and 10 respectively.[1][2]
