Joshua Perez (born January 21, 1998) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Fiorentina in Italy.

Club career

On 4 February 2016, Fiorentina signed Perez.[1]

International career

Perez joined the United States U17 in the fall of 2013, earning three caps and an assist in 190 minutes. In 2014, Perez played 5 games for the United States, under-17 earning him 15 starts while having a goal and two assists. His goal helped the USA defeat Costa Rica 5-2 on October 1. Going into the CONCACAF U-17 Championship, in 2015, Perez scores two goals and gets two assists in two matches. Perez scored a goal during the USA’s 2-0 win against Panama on February 2, 2015 and scored the game-winning goal in the 5-2 victory against Bermuda on February 20.[2]

Personal life

He is the nephew of former United States men's national soccer team midfielder Hugo Pérez, and is of Salvadoran descent.
