Luxcoin is LuxCore's Proof-of-Work/Proof-of-Stake cryptocurrency coin, based on the new ASIC resistant GPU Phi1612 algorithm. According to LuxCore, the most efficient GPU mining algorithm.[1][2]

Parallel masternodes

LuxCore Parallel Masternodes (PMN) are a I2pd blockchain network using the Simple Anonymous Messaging (SAM) protocol, and for third-party applications. Coin Central notes, "The parallel masternodes are only going to be available to vetted and verified government institutions and businesses in order to reduce the potential for any malicious players. All wallets and transactions on the Parallel Masternodes are encrypted."[2]
