PMX Agency, formerly PM Digital, is a digital marketing agency that provides paid search, SEO, social media, display, shopping feed management, creative and email marketing solutions to a variety of eCommerce, financial, publishing, and non-profit clients. Headquartered in New York, New York, its clients include The North Face, AARP, Aerosoles, Boden, Steve Madden, PC Richard & Son, the Paralyzed Veterans of America.[1]

PMX Agency was founded as PM Digital in 2001 by CEO Chris Paradysz [2] as the digital marketing division of the offline marketing company, ParadyszMatera.[3] With a $20,000 Google AdWords campaign, Bloomingdale's became the company's first client.[3] Through the addition of clients and key acquisitions like that of optimization company SpinShark in 2009[4] and the digital services of Zeta Interactive in July 2012,[5] PMX Agency grew to include digital marketing services such as SEO, social media marketing, display advertising, web analytics and creative services.[6]

In February 2016, PM Digital formed a partnership with NetBooster to grow the agency's international presence to 25 offices, 800 employees and $500 million of media spend.[7]

On June 6, 2016, PM Digital merged with parent company Paradysz, Inc. to form PMX Agency, Inc.[8] Shortly thereafter, Stagwell Group, founded by former Microsoft executive Mark Penn, acquired a majority stake in the company.[9]

Since 2010, the agency has compiled, published and distributed quarterly digital marketing summary reports, an annual luxury study, annual back to school and annual Black Friday/Cyber Monday data compilations. These reports have been cited by many national and local publications such as HubSpot,[10] Business Insider,[11] and Search Engine Watch.[12]
