Parasparam is an Indian television soap opera on the Asianet. It started airing on 22 July 2013 and airs Monday through Saturday evenings on 9pm. It stars Gayathri Arun and Vivek Gopan as the main protagonists. It is the official remake edition of Diya Aur Baati Hum Aired in Star Plus.

Plot summary

Template:Nobots Template:Copyviocore Parasparam is the story of Deepthi as she trains as an Indian Police Service officer. She dreams to break the boundaries of her confined existence of middle-class values. The story is also about Sooraj Vivek Gopan, who is a self-made man. Sooraj owns a famous bakery near his house.

Sooraj and Deepthi get married under strained circumstances. Deepthi struggles with her strict mother-in-law who does not accept that her daughter-in-law could become a police officer. The story shows how her husband becomes her strength and helps her to fulfil her dream. Sooraj gets the title of World's Top Cook. Deepthi completes IPS training and wins the Best Cadet Trophy. The program now shows her working as an ASP in her own home town.

It was the First time in the Malayalam Film and Television history it has shown the training in an IPS Camp. Before this there are no Films or Television Series which showcased the IPS trainings eventhough there were many films and television series having IPS persons as Protagonist's.
