Paul L Martin (born 20 July 1975) also known as Trinity Million and Paulus, is a British singer, comic, performer, cabaret artist, public speaker, event host, teacher and facilitator.

He is best known for appearing as one of The Hundred on BBC's All Together Now.

Martin ran the entertainment agency Excess All Areas for ten years during which time he founded the annual Cabaret Convention in London and also the annual London Cabaret Awards. In 2007 Martin was shortlisted for two awards from The Ministry of Burlesque and in 2012 won Best Producer for Cabaret at the Fringe Report Awards. Martin has judged many talent competitions including National Burlesque Awards, Drag Idol for Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Pride's Got Talent, Musical Comedy Awards and Burlesque Idol at The Hippodrome Casino.



Martin's first variety show was in aid of Leukaemia Research Fund at the age of fifteen in his home town of Littlebourne. He then raised a total of £5,500 for various charities after 4 annual shows.

Martin performed at Madame JoJo's in 1999 as Trinity Million. He made his New York debut in 2005 at Don't Tell Mama and Birdland and also debuted in Australia in 2006 at The Butterfly Club in Melbourne.

Martin has performed in various cabaret clubs around the UK including The Dorchester Hotel, Hackney Empire, The Pigalle Club, Café Royale and Café de Paris. Over the years Martin has also performed in the Supperclub in Rome, La Charlotte de L’Isle in Paris, The Sugar Club in Dublin and various venues in Berlin.

Martin has produced many cabarets for The Battersea Barge in London including Cheese ‘n’ Crackers, Diva Nite and also produced, wrote, directed and starred in their annual adult pantomimes. From 2014 the pantomimes moved to the LOST Theatre.[1] (2001 – Cinderella, 2002 – ‘Big’ Dick Whittington, 2003 – Christmas Carol, 2004 – Sleeping Beauty, 2005 Aladdin,[2] 2006 – Lucky the Cow's Pantomime Cavalcade, 2007 – Jack and the Lampshade, 2008 – Snow White and the Seven Signs of Aging,[3] 2009 – Peter Pandemonium, 2010 – Cinderella and the Glass Ceiling,[4] 2011 – Red Riding Hoodie,[5] 2012 – Alice in Poundland,[6] 2013 – Pilates in the Caribbean,[7] 2014 – Booty and the Biatch,[8] 2015 – Kitten in Heels,[9] 2016 – Hairy Poppins[10])

In 2010 Martin played The Beadle in Sweeney Todd at Dundee Repertory Theatre, for their 10-year anniversary season.[11] In 2002 Martin played Syliva St. Croix in the UK Premiere of Ruthless and won Musical Stages ‘Best Actor in a Musical’ award.[12] Martin was in the original cast of Beautiful and Damned choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood and created the role of Philip Salon for the Boy George musical Taboo. Martin played one of the Ugly Sisters in Cinderella Pantomime in December 2019 at Regent Theatre, Ipswitch[13]

This year Martin has written and will be performing Looking For Me Friend, The Music of Victoria Wood at Edinburgh Festival with Michael Roulston on the piano.[14] Martin will be performing 8 preview shows ahead of the Edinburgh Festival at The Pheasantry in Chelsea, Watermans Theatre, The Jenny Lind Inn in Hastings (Hastings Fringe Comedy Festival), Town & Gown Pub & Theatre in Cambridge and Old Joint Stock in Birmingham.

Teacher and Facilitator

As a teacher and facilitator Martin regularly runs short courses and workshops.[15] Martin has also presented Cabaret Specialist week for the Musical Theatre Academy since its first intake of students.[16] He has also been involved with the Singers’ Cabaret Workshop with co-founder Jamie Anderson,[17] the Actors Centre in London, Arts Educational Drama School, East 15 Drama School and ALRA, and at the Chicago-Paris Cabaret Conference at Chicago Old Town Folk School and DePaul University Music School.


Martin appeared on Bigger Than... as a Judge in 2012 on Sky Living[18] and in 2014 mentored retired performers back into the industry on ‘Mary's Silver Service’ on C4. Martin was one of The Hundred in Series 1 and 2 of BBC One's All Together Now as well as All Together Now Celebrities which aired on Christmas Eve 2018.


In 2007 Martin's debut album, Bein’ Green was released.[19]

Personal life

Martin trained in musical theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts where he won a singing scholarship.[20]
