Template:Use British English Template:Cleanup-reorganize Philip Ayckbourn (born Burnham, Bucks) is a theatre director and playwright. He is the son of playwright Sir Alan Ayckbourn.

Ayckbourn trained for three years at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In 1998, he founded Quorum Theatre Company, with fellow RADA alum Judi Christie, for which Ayckbourn has written and directed many of his own plays.
