Sean Patrick Evans born 30 September is an English Singer, theatre Actor and Presenter from Croydon London. Known for his performances with the Croydon Youth Theatre Organisation and his production company 'Wizo Productions'.
Evans trained as an actor at the Croydon Youth Theatre Organisation, London. He was a member there for Ten Years between 2006-2015. Evans left the Organisation in September 2015. For nearly a decade Evans performed in over 20 productions including solo performances and took part in the London New Years Day Parade in 2014, representing Croydon.
His first starring role was in the musical "Suzical". He played Mr Mayer in 2010, and had a small role playing a baby cub in The Jungle Book in 2006. Evans has also starred as Benny South-street; for Guys 'n' Dolls in 2012; Multi roles in Our House 2011, 'The Constable' in Fiddler On The Roof 2013 and 'Twanky' for an adaptation of Cinderella entitled Sparkling Ashes in 2014.
Evans has performed solo on stage, his first being a cover of "It's a Heartache" followed by "Tears in Heaven". Evans started singing in 2009.
Sean enjoyed an ongoing relationship with the Croydon Youth Theatre Organisation (CYTO), where he had been a proud older member for almost Ten years. Evans found his singing voice at CYTO, where he performed on stage. In 2015, CYTO celebrated its 50th birthday with a production of local Play-wright Richard Vincent's specially written play, Abi Understood. Sean joined the proceedings; alongside TV presenter Matthew Wright and actor Paul Bazely. In 2014 Evans starred in adaptation of Cinderella entitled Sparkling Ashes, again written by Vincet. The show was created again at CYTO and Evans played the role of Twanky- his biggest role on stage, dressing as a women for the production. It has since gone on tour with another cast. Sean Worked for Helen O'Grady Drama Academy as a Co- Director in 2011.
In 2015, Evans produced a piloted LIVE production under his production company 'Wizo Productions'. The show was aimed a children; entitled 'The Can Do Crew'. He created and starred alongside a team of actors. The production has since turned into a series.
TV And Radio
For a brief period Evans co-presented a radio show on 'Youth FM' around 2007. Evans Created a series from the LIVE production entitled 'The Can Do Crew Sketch Show'; shot at JJ Locations Studios, in London. The series was produced for DVD, due for issue, December 2016. TV dealer and personalities, David Ford (as seen on 'Dickinson's Real Deal' and 'Secret Dealers') provided a voice over the series. Singer-songwriter 'Kettu' (from Finland) was a special guest star in the series. Wizo productions produced a range of products for the series including; posters, CDs and a 2017 official calendar.
Evans presented a panel based talk show; (that similar to Loose Women), entitled Straight Talk'. The show featured news based topics with a mixed group of people. The series was recorded in late 2015.
Recently, Sean worked alongside TV Dealers David Ford and Simon Schneider in producing a charity video in support of CYTO; helping it celebrate its 50th year. The video produced featured personal messages from personalities within the industry; wishing the organization well and showing support. Celebrity's included; John Challis, Christopher Biggins, Anna Williamson and others. Ford and Schneider presented in-vision introducing the messages, directed and produced by Evans. The video can be viewed via a link on CYTO and Evans website.
Sean will present a talk show at 'TMRW' Croydon, in October of this year; entitled 'A Good Evening With...', including guests form stage, screen and show-biz. The show will also include people who work in and around its setting Of Croydon. Produced again for DVD and broadcast on 'London TV'.
In 2014, Sean worked on a series called 'This is home'; the series was initially set to be a stand-alone film for 'The Film Room' but was later created as a series. Evans played A young man, who took in a homeless guy; with a lot in common. After living together for years, becoming like brothers and realizing they only have each other. The series was the second winner in the Film Room 2015.
Music And Comedy
Evans released his first single; a cover of 'when you say nothing at all' in 2014. Followed by his first studio album entitled 'For You'. The Cds were produced directly and sold via his official website. Sean recently turned his hand to Stand-up, performing in local venues, mixing comedy and singing into his shows.
