Football biography

Waris Rashid (born 01 November 1994) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Sudeva Moonlight F.C. in the I-League 2nd Division.

Early life

Born in Malerkotla, Punjab Rashid started playing Football in early School Life. Appeared for India U-14 & India U-16 India national under-17 football team after Performing Well in the Subroto Cup also claiming the Man of the Series and Winning at the Manchester United Premier Cup 2008 in Malaysia.

Club career

Played for Chennai United FC in 2014-15 in the I-League 2nd Division. After a Fruitfull Season with Chennai United he shifted next season shifted to Minerva Punjab FC appearing for the side in 2015-16 and also Winning the I-League 2nd Division Title with Minerva Punjab FC in the following Season afterTeam Work and Dedication from the club and Players [1] . [2] [3]. Currently Playing for Sudeva Moonlight F.C. with being the Captain of the Team apprearing 8 Times. [4]

International career

Rashid has represented India at the India national under-17 football team level.[5]
