Wavedash Games is an independent video-gaming company, based in Oakland, CA.[1]

Founded in 2015 by Alex Erlandson, Matt Fairchild, and Jason Rice,[1] and taking its moniker from the Super Smash Bros. Melee exploit known among advanced gamers as wavedashing, Wavedash is a company specializing in esports-ready, community-crafted, platform fighting games.[2] Seeking to create, or expand, an esports niche genre that started with Smash,[2] Wavedash procured $6 Million in Series A funding from March Capital Partners,[3]
