Ben Cleveland (Born: c. 1975, Toronto, Ontario) is the professional name of Canadian radio and television personality Ben Grant.
Ben first became involved in broadcasting while attending York University. In 1996, he filled in as a colour commentator for CHRY's coverage of York University Football, having played the previous season.
When Herbie Kuhn was hired as the public address announcer of the Toronto Raptors, Ben took over as the voice of York University Sports, calling all football, basketball, volleyball, and hockey games through the end of 1999.
In January 2000, he attended Humber College's Radio Broadcasting program, where he used the name Ben Cleveland for the first time on the campus station, CKHC 90.7 FM.
That spring, he was hired by Corus Entertainment to do his own show on CKGE, Magic @ 94.9, an adult contemporary station in Oshawa, Ontario. Over the next year, Cleveland could also be heard on sister-station CKDO 1350, and seen on CHEX TV Durham.
In February 2001, Cleveland left to join Energy FM, The All-Hit Superstation, which broadcast out of Hamilton, London, Barrie, and Oshawa.
In January 2002, he moved to Toronto where he worked for AM 640, Mojo Radio.
In June 2002, Cleveland resigned suddenly to pursue a career playing poker.
