Daniel Pickering (born August 16, 1974) is a British TV/Film Producer, Visual FX artist and Animator, born in Whipps Cross, London, England.

Pickering has a background in electronic engineering & computer animation, he worked in special/visual FX as CGI consultant to Brian Johnson (two time academy award winner, Alien and The Empire Strikes Back) before founding the animation and production company Annix Studios, based in Pinewood Studios, England.

He most notably created the Cbeebies show "Little Charley Bear" narrated by James Corden and the animated short film "Scragg 'n' Bones".

Entirely creating and producing his own content from start to finish, he developed the technology to produce both shows in-house.He lists both Jim Henson & Oliver Postgate as his main inspiration.

In November 2011, Daniel was nominated for a 2012 Broadcast award, for "Little Charley Bear"

Daniel is currently producing a live action feature film based on his childhood idol & is also executive producing Gerry Anderson's last 3D CGI animated feature film.
