Hamid Shabbir Azar (Template:Lang-ur is a Lahore based lawyer,[1] was born on October 28, 1960 in Lahore. He is senior advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan and visiting professor for business law. He earned LL.B. law degree from University of the Punjab in 1986 and diploma in labour law in 1992. Azar is a Life Member of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan. He remained unopposed secretary library, Lahore High Court Bar Association 1994-95 and member executive of Lahore High Court Bar Association.[2] His elder son Muhammad Umair Hamid is also an Advocate High Court.

Early life
He was born & grew up in Lahore, Pakistan and also completed his education from Lahore. He joined legal profession and work in the Chamber of Justice Shiekh Azmat Saeed.[3]
Professional Background
He remained associated with senior advocate Raza Kazim. He joined the Law Firm M/s Mandviwalla & Zafar & Legal Consultants. He assisted in so many cases to S.M. Zafar and barrister Ali Zafar and remained there till 2002. He also joined the Chamber of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah in his Law Firm M/s Afridi, Shah & Minallah for a year then become the part of ABS & Co. law firm and remained associate of Ahmer Bilal Soofi. He contested the election of member executive, Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan for the years 2009-10 & 2010-11 but remained unsuccessful.[4] He deals in commercial, banking, insurance and corporate matters.

He deals Corporate Law, Banking Law, Insurance matter, Company matters, Merger & Acquisitions, Property law & Civil Law. He is known as Corporate Best Lawyer in the Town. He is senior partner of his Law Firm.
Chairman
In view of his contribution & services, the President Lahore High Court Bar Association appointed him as Chairman, Air & Water Pollution Control Committee for 2020-21. He is actively involved in rendering his services for well being of Bar & Bench.
