"We act, we pose, we play, we stop, we stare, we scream. We bring his visions to life, because that is how we live. Feeding from the joy of creation, and burning what remains."

After Endless Mode's development was complete and released, Nikson released the Story Mode, which interprets to Scott Cawthon, the developer of Five Nights At Freddy's series story about his life and the animatronics.

First project

It got canceled after Nikson announced he got tired with the project and has moved on. Though it got turned into The Joy of Creation: Reborn four months after the original TJoC.

Survival Mode

The Joy of Creation has only one available mode called Survival Mode. The goal in survival mode is that the player must survive as long as possible without getting jumpscared by the Ignited Animatronics.

You play as Scott Cawthon (the creator of FNAF). There are four Ignited animatronics in the game. You have a flashlight with limited batteries which you need to defend yourself by shining your flashlight at the animatronics.

The animatronics start off at certain locations in your house. e.g. Ignited Freddy starts within the closet in front of you. Ignited Chica starts within the left closet. Ignited Bonnie starts within the hallway to your right. And Ignited Foxy starts off at the balcony behind your back. You have to use your hearing and sight-seeing skills to survive the animatronics for a long amount of time.

Reborn: Endless mode

The first level should be Ignited Freddy, guarding the first floor.

Ignited Bonnie is the second challenge which he is patrolling the basement.

Ignited Chica's stage, the forest, which the Chica's level is just like any of Slender games, to collect notes.

The bloodthirsty Ignited Foxy's aggressively raging at the attic. This challenge is more different than any of other level, as the developer advised the player to need to take a preventative measures about Foxy, which it is kind like torching at the Foxy's face in good approximation of distance.

Story Mode

In the Office, Scott was being chased by Freddy after he discovered the animatronics become smarter and angrier.

In the Basement, all the animatronics is Fallen, without exoskeletons, which the voice amplifies louder.

Improvements and appreciation

In the Reborn Edition, PewDiePie caught an interest to this free-roam version game as the Five Nights At Freddy's 3 and Five Nights At Freddy's 4 wasn't satisfies him. He rated in his gaming video as his favorite horror game.

After a year, a trailer was released showcasing everything that the full Story Mode had to offer, which it is made the player gone metaphysical to the story. This trailer reveals to the spectacular graphics, impeccable voice acting, and an overall impressive story line. The man talking in the trailer gives a bit of an idea about his background and the plot that the player will be taking on in the full game. The lore seems in-depth, it seems as though there will be a lot of story for the player to find within the game itself. It also reveals that the setting will be in a house, as the player suspected.

The animation was a kind of hectic and act more faster, which in the Basement, the fallen endoskeletons chasing the player faster and harsh which its footsteps made the player anxious and scared. The story is much perplexed comparable to any Five Nights at Freddy's story, which it is made into cinematic flashback. Different to Five Nights at Freddy's, the story was made into 8-bit style. Some of the players such as Markiplier and Jacksepticeye appreciate the good work from Nikson and his team.
