Arthur Fred Gebhardt (February 26, 1929 – February 13, 2002) was born in Rockville, Connecticut, to Carl Frederick Gebhardt and Mary Catherine Pfeiffer. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, along with being a professional gauge maker from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. Along with being well known for his veteran service and his well known profession he was known for being a star golfer and a devout Episcopalian Christian.[1] He died in Spring Hill, Florida on February 13, 2002. He was of German, Irish, and Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry.
