BlackMonk CMS is developed and marketed by Bangalore-based DoubleSpring Media, which was founded in 2008. Prior to the launch of BlackMonk in November 2012, DoubleSpring Media operated a city portal for Bangalore and had developed a CMS product named LocalEngine.[2] [3]
