EA Pacific (Formally Westwood Pacific and Burst Studios) was at the time, the development division of Virgin Interactive Entertainment based in Irvine, California. The company was founded in 1995 and developed 4 games before being sold to Electronic Arts in 1998 as part of their buyout of Virgin Interactive's North American Operations.

The company was then renamed to Westwood Pacific after being placed under the Westwood name and later was renamed again to EA Pacific, and went on to develop Command & Conquer: Generals in 2003. After development work on this game was complete EA absorbed the division into their Los Angeles operations.
