Deavan Ryan Ebersole (born August 19, 1992) is an American internet personality, and celebrity gossip blogger. Ebersole is known for his continued online correspondence with American Singer, Jordin Sparks. In 2011, Ebersole took part in an online contest hosted by VH1 Save The Music, in hopes to win an all exclusive trip to meet Sparks.[1] Ebersole was required to write a short summary about 'What music meant to you.' Following the trip and meeting Sparks', Ebersole gained media and online attention. As of April 2014, Ebersole has gained over 50,000 views on his YouTube channel focused on Sparks' career. Ebersoles blogs have also gained attention by mentioning the likes of Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and Demi Lovato.[2]

Early life

Ebersole was born in Hagerstown, Maryland to Dawn Hernandez-Gifford and Thomas Leon Ebersole Jr. Ebersole has 2 brothers, Justin Hernandez and Michael Gifford, as well as two sisters, Brianna Russ and Brooke Myers. Ebersole grew up in Hagerstown before moving to Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania in 2006 in correlation to his mothers remarriage. While living in Hagerstown, Deavan attended Williamsport High School, before transferring and later graduating from Susquehannock High School. Deavan is currently employed with State Farm.

Philanthropy

Deavan began his philanthropic journey in 201, at the time of the 2010 Haiti earthquake that effected Haiti. During this time, Ebersole was a senior in High School. With the help of his government teacher, Ebersole created a donation drive to raise movie for the cause. Ebersole and some classmates raised over 2,500 for the cause. [3] Just a few months prior, Ebersole gained local news attention when Ebersole joined Jordin Sparks campaign, 'Jordins Wish', to raise money for the less fortunate during the Christmas holiday. Ebersole collected donations from his fellow co-workers, friends and teachers.[4]
