Musical artist

Jahid Samed (born 9 March 1982), better known by his stage name Gorilla Chilla, is an English DJ and music producer of Bangladesh descent based in Manchester.[1]


Samed has collaborated with a number of Manchester-based artists, including Billy Blitz, Illmatik, Young Twist,[2] Nafis, Metz & Trix and RDB.[3]

In August 2007, he performed at the Dpercussion festival in Castlefield, Manchester.[4] In July 2010, he performed at the Hungama festival in Glasgow.[2]

In April 2011, Samed's debut album Music in My Blood was released by Hi-Tech Music,[5] alongside its first single "Sohni Nehn".[3]

Samed is also a resident club DJ. Since November 2011, he has been a radio presenter on ALL FM.[6]
