Mathivanan Sakthivel is an Indian film actor, and film director who is best known for his movies Maha Maha and Nunnunarvu

Film Career

Mathivanan's passion for tamil films let to him making his first film Maha Maha. . He had an opportunity to work with award winning editor Suresh Urs for his first film Maha Maha and for his subsequent film Nunnunarvu.

Mathivanan introduced Isaighani Ilayaraja's Nephew Pavalar Shiva as a music director in his first film Maha Maha.

Mathivanan won his first recognition for this work through "Award of Recognition" for his movie Maha Maha in 2015 from "The IndieFest Film Awards"based in California, USA in 2015 and in the same year he also won the "Award of Recognition" from "Accolade Global Film Competition".

Mathivanan also won the "Award of Recognition" from "The IndieFEST Film Awards" for his film Nunnunarvu in 2019.
