Officeholder

Michael Hart is a veteran of the Global War on Terrorism, having joined the US Army in 2001 and serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. He was elected Mayor of Commerce, Oklahoma, in July 2008 by special election and re-elected in April 2011.[1]

Education

Hart graduated from Commerce High School in 2000. He holds an Associates of Arts degree from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and a Bachelors of Arts degree from Pittsburg State University.

Personal life

He and his wife Teresa have four children: Austin, Lexi, Kayleigh and Gavin.
