Miss Junk is a trash-hauling company Launched in 2008 by brothers Ramon and Tony Mercado. Miss Junk began as a general junk-removal service, but it quickly settled into a niche assisting banks and realtors with foreclosure cleanups and now works with over 25 major banks cleaning foreclosed homes.[1]

Ramon Mercado, co-owner of Chatsworth-based Miss Junk, hauls away junk that banks have to get rid of when they repossess homes.[2] "Once we take care of one job, the banks and Realtors will have us do two or three other houses," he said. "I think we're growing."[3][4]

Miss Junk has franchises in Los Angeles and Ventura county and plans on having 100 trucks working in southern California by the end of 2010.
