Ramy El-Batrawi is an American businessman.
El-Batrawi, along with Adnan Khashoggi, was the principal financier behind Genesis Intermedia, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ: GENI), a publicly traded Internet company based in Southern California. In 2006, El-Batrawi and Kashoggi were sued by the SEC for securities fraud. The case was settled in 2010; both men did not admit or deny the allegations; both agreed to be barred for five years from serving as an officer or director of a company that issues registered securities.
