Richard Barker (born 1968)[1] is a hypnotist based in Orlando, Florida, and is the CEO of National Entertainment Group.[2][3][4] He started his career in the United Kingdom before moving to the USA in 2003.


As a child, Barker held puppet shows for neighborhood children. He joined the British Army's Royal Green Jackets at the age of 16 and later become a Kent Police detective. During his time as a detective, Barker developed cognitive hypnosis interview skills.

He has appeared as a headline performer for Celebrity and Carnival Cruise Lines and Fortune 500 companies. His television appearances include NBC's The Today Show, CBS' The Late Late Show with James Corden, FOX's Good Day LA, and ABC World News Tonight. [5]


Barker wrote a book titled Secrets of the Stage Revealed: The Guide to Hypnosis and Stage Hypnotism.[6]
