Sahir Hashmi Adeeb (22 June 1929 – 6 August 1999 in Kanpur) was an Indian Urdu poet.

A selected collection (Ghazals, Nazms, QuatAat, Rubaiyat, Dohey) of his poetry was published as Naqeeb-e Khudi in 1981 and a collection of Hamd and Naats as zikr Hadi wa Hidayat in 1999. Sahir was awarded the Hasrat Mohani Award.[1]
