Ghweleke Akporhuarho Stanley (born 20 April 1977), better known by the stage name SimCard, is a Nigerian standup comedian.

Early life and education

Ghweleke Akporhuarho Stanley was born on 20 April 1977 in Warri and was raised in the (Urhobo) UDU Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. He is the son of Emmanuel Roland and Mary Ghweleke. Along with his ten siblings, he attended Urhobo College Effurun.[1]


SimCard first performed comedy at the Nite of 1000 Laughs Show, organized by Opa Williams. During that show, he worked alongside other comedians such as Igosave, Bovi, Basketmouth, and Buchi Ojieh I Go Dye .[no citations needed here]
